I'm aware that Nmap is much more effective for such tasks, but I'd still like to know. I've searched online but am having a hard time finding an answer.
When I run:
ncat -vzw1 scanme.nmap.org 20-25 It outputs.
Ncat: Version 7.91 ( https://nmap.org/ncat ) Ncat: Invalid port number "20-25". QUITTING. Whereas when I use traditional netcat it works.
