We are looking for replacements at the edge. We currently use 2960x with 8 stack members in each IDF. We've engaged with Cisco partners and they are recommending stacking now
We're looking at the C9410R chassis instead of having a stack of 6-8 switches used for users in each office. Anyone have been using those chassis in production?
I know chassis is cheaper than modular switches but they could be messy with cable management
If the chassis goes down for any reasons, all the users connecting the switch will be off the network
Do chassis have more disadvantages over stacking which could be listed here?
What do you guys recommend here? Stackables or Chassis for the edge?
