Hello friends,
I recently started administering a crypto mining farm where it is common (in the long term configuration phase) for the Linux machines to crash.
Sometimes a linux machine freezes and needs a cold boot. And sometimes the network switch crashes at the same time. (roughly every 3 weeks)
Currently using a TP-Link TL-SG108 V8 8-port gigabit switch. (unmanaged)
Up to now the solution is that someone reboots the switch (but this can take time at 3am...)
Are there switches that are protected from such a crash or are there other solutions to ensure the integrity of the network?
