I was wondering, with MAC Based Vlan group is it possible to make a switchport automatically change Vlan based on the MAC address of the device that you plug in
Example: Vlan 5: Computers Vlan6: Printers
If all my free ports are on Vlan 5 and a user want to connect a HP Printer. Is it possible to make the vlan automatically switch to vlan 6 when the printer is connect. And then revert to vlan 5 when a lenovo laptop is plugged in.
At my workplace we still use old switches everywhere 3560-3750-3850. So no new technology.
If you have easier idea let me know!
