Hello guys, hope i find some answers for my problem here. So i have been trying to move an ERP system for a customer of mine from his old server that runs server 2003 to a newer one that runs sbs 2011, i installed a new ssd drive installed windows and all runs fine. All drivers but the SM bus controller are there, now when i run the ERP its way slower than usual, a report that takes 30 sec is taking more than an hour. Since i have another customer with the same setup and slower connection i narrowed down my suspension to the following that i hope you might help with : 1 - does a gigabit ethernet card on a 10/100 switch creates some kind of bottleneck effect? 2- is it the ethernet card, tho since its a server with two ethernet connections, donno if they are separate in the inside tho or just one card, and what are the chances that both servers have defected ethernet cards anyway. So its defected is there any tests i can run? If you have any other suggestions i would appreciate it, its been 4 days and i got nothing.
