Looking for some advice!
Just started a new job last week and have been given a list of projects to do.
These are all based off of an IT review done by an external company.
The company has two offices over 2 countries. It is currently a layer 2 set up with no vlans, few firewall rules and minimal security.
In short the recommendations were:
Implement a VPN (one or 2 people log in over Teamviewer once in a while) Do they really need a solution if people dont really work from home?
One of the recomendations was to implement vlans in the Office.
There are about 25 users in each site (2 sites in Europe) about 50/60 clients and 20 servers.
My questions are:
Ideally how would you set up the new network if you could s tart from scratch?
Is a full VPN set up overkill considering it's never used
Do they really need seperate VLANs for such a small network? If so would 2 be enough? Servers and Client VLANs?
