Cisc AIR-CAP1602I: What contract is required to obtain the autonomous firmware?

Hi

We've replaced our 1602 APs that were bound to a WLC 2504 so they had a lightweight firmware on them. I know they are going EoL in roughly 1 year, but for hand-me-downs they are still pretty viable and one local nonprofit where I'm helping out sometimes, would be interested in getting them (for free).

However obviously the don't have the need for all APs nor do they operate a controller so I tried getting them converted to standalone mode. The thing however is that while I can still get the latest lightweight AP image, the autonomous image requires seems to require another contract as ours apparently only covered the WLC 2504 by the time we replaced the old systm.

I'd be willing to at pay the fee for 1 smartnet or comparable contract as individual person to obtain the latest autonomous firmware but I'm not certain what is required to unlock that download exactly.

And yes: I've tried searching the interwebs for the autonomous firmware, but apparently that seems to be pretty much made out of unobtainium. :-\
