We're currently using a pair of fiber -> copper transceivers because our switches are BaseT. I believe the media converters may be failing.
The switches have 2 x 40Gbps QSFP+ ports on them - if I plugged in a 40Gbps QSFP+ module, can it run at 10Gbps, or even 1Gbps? The cable to connect to them would be fiber, if that matters.
