Ok, so we are a 100% Cisco shop, and are looking at trying to save some money on a huge switch upgrade project. We are currently deploying Cisco 9300 switches for all branch locations, and it’s definitely overkill for what’s needed. Hoping I could get some real world feedback from you out there who run other types of switches(non Cisco) for remote offices and your experiences with them on functionally, support, and cost for 24 and 48 ports.
We use a very basic config with data and voice vlan trunked to router. That’s about it, no layer 3 stuff or anything else. Literally router on a stick.
