I'm pretty happy with the performance of VNC, but the one nagging issue is that I am using a Intuos tablet that sends pressure data, which VNC doesn't seem to use.
While reading around, I've seen people say that the speed differences between VNC and RDP are minimal over a fast LAN. If that is true and the speeds are similar, I will stick with VNC rather than go down a RDP rabbit hole.
So, will RDP give me a significant speed increase compared to VNC over a gigabit LAN?
