Noob question: I have fast internet but the concrete floor reduces the speed in my room, I have an ethernet port right outside my room, what should I do

I don’t really want to run a long ethernet cable through my door. I’m assuming I need some kind of mesh device/extender that plugs in via ethernet. I’m all ears thank you!
