In something like a fully automated campus LAN setup using cisco's DNA system to automatically set up the underlayer routes and overlayer vxlan tunnels. What would be the point of a network engineer given that routes can configure themselves and security policies can be easily controlled by blanket policies? Would it just be monitoring and maintenance of the network?
