SWITCH-PATCH PANEL SETUP

Hi to all,

We about to relocate and setup new structured cabling in our office.

Im about to think what should be the "BEST PRACTICE" when terminating copper cables to patch panels. I have faceplates on walls and will be terminated on the patchpanels connected to the switches.
What should be the recommended setup?

A.) Wall-Faceplate module terminated on the back of the patch panel then front of the patch panel connected to the switch
B. ) Wall-Faceplate module connected on the front of the patch panel then back of the patch panel terminated to the switch

Im thinking to choose letter B, because in order for me to find the connected devices easily rather than checking it on the back of the patch panel and reterminated it in case of layer 1 issue.

Please share your advice since its my first time for these scenarios. Thank you
