As title say, my gigabit Ethernet switch cuts my speeds in half when I plug in a second device. I guess this makes sense, the switch sending half the signal to one device and half to the other. But is there some sort of smart switch that can send maybe 20mb/s to one port and the rest to the other?
My setup is modem/router>Ethernet cable>switch>one line to pc, another line to security camera.
Obviously, I want a fast connection to the pc and only need 20mb/s to the camera
