Hello! I am a noob when I comes to setting up my home network and I may have ran into problem...

When I first started to test my network switch all hooked up, I noticed that my devices where getting no internet connection. I tried to do some basic troubleshooting and never really helped. I then decided to try log onto the admin panel, which it would only let me log into when the internet went down. Strange. I somehow log into the GUI and go to logs to try and find anything that could point me in a direction. I see that the switch is really unhappy with my modem and how they are both sharing the default gateway and that they are having “ip conflict”. I reset my modem and now the internet seems ok (knock on wood) but I no longer can reach the GUI for the network switch when using the default gateway, it just brings me to the modem’s instead. Even though my computer is wired into the network switch, it still tries to log me into the modem. Is there anything I can do about this? I have a managed switch so I would like to use it lol. I will be extremely active on this post so if you need any information to help me ask away! Thanks!
