Odd Network issue

We are monitoring our network with Solarwinds Engineer edition. Part of the monitoring setup is to ping critical interfaces to record response times and packet loss.

The environment is a Sonicwall Firewall Lan interface is connected to the same switch that the server with Solarwinds doing the monitoring is connected to. The Sonicwall Firewall has another interface being monitored (Wireless LAN) on an uplinked switch.

The issue is multiple times throughout the day the response time for both the firewall lan interface and wireless interface start getting high response times (at the Same time). The odd part of this is that the event lasts for exactly 20 minutes. Internet browsing is affected when this happens.

The uplinked switch also suffers from the same situation although not at the same time. Also for 20 minutes at a time.

The Sonicwall is the default router on the Wired LAN interface for the network.

Does anybody have any insight on what could be causing this and why for 20 minutes?

I am going to get a wireshark capture to see if it gives me any insight.
