Hi All,
Having an issue with a new Mobility Express deployment. It's one 1832 AP, so the WLC VM is provisioned on it as 10.30.50.240, and the CAPWAP portion is pulling a DHCP address from the server. The CAPWAP side of the unit knows the WLC's static IP, and I can see it trying to contact the WLC at the correct IP. However, the WLC IP is not responding, and I can't ping it. Shortly after, in the logs, the AP goes into FlexConnect Standalone mode, because it detects the WLC is offline.

Now the thing that I'm banging my head against the wall on is that this access point IS the controller, as well as a CAPWAP, because that's how Mobility Express works, in place of a physical dedicated controller. So, if I can ping and access the CAPWAP, why can't I ping and access the Controller instance?
Is this an issue for TAC or has anyone seen this?
