some wifi networks not visible

This is a new installation of W10 Pro on a new SSD drive as of a few days ago. The prior fresh install on another drive had the same issue. On both drives/installations, the desired network was visible at first, but I was never able to connect and the SSID disappears after the connection failure. Uninstalling the wireless network adapter does nothing but reinstall itself. It can see other networks, but not the desired one.

The machine is also joined to an Azure AD domain in Intune. I looked for a WiFi profile, none, looked for a Device Configuration policy for W10 devices under Cellular and Connectivity, but nothing there either.

I disconnect from the AAD domain and rebooted into a different user profile, but same issue persists.

The wireless card is Broadcom internal and new to this machine, which installed without a hitch and again sees all other networks..

Any ideas?
