Has anyone gotten non-Cisco USB flash or SATA devices to work on Catalyst 9300 or 9500?

I'm wondering if anyone has gotten non-Cisco USB flash or SATA devices to work on Catalyst 9300 or 9500 switches. My search of Google hasn't come up with anything yet. I've heard it's possible.
