Will ospf overwrite the default route?

Got a switch that has some static routes in it. one of them being

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.16.32.10

now when i test this is goes to another address 10.254.32.1

I ran the show ip routes command and saw that an external ospf changed it to point to 10.254.32.1

Is it normal for ospf to overwrite/ignore the static routes set?
