I am a student with basic knowledge of networking. So, I and my friend who is from another country are working on a devops project. Scenario is: He has bought a server. The server will be running FreeNas OS. There are three VMs running on it. Two of which should be accessible by public but one should be in private network. I should also be able to connect to those two VMs. What would be the best way for me to connect to his server? Kindly elaborate your answer since this is first time I am working on a project and I am a beginner. You are free to share blogs/video links for knowledge purpose.
