Collecting BGP tables in real time

I have been looking for tools to collect BGP tables from routers in real time.
So far I found SNMP, and Telemetry. Telemetry is obviously a better choice in this case, because you can set low time intervals (for example 30s), and it doesn't need polling.
My problem with telemetry is that, BGP tables might not change for hours, but if 10 updates come in in 20 seconds, my Telemetry-collected BGP table might be outdated for 30 seconds.
Is there a tool, that I'm missing here, or is it possible to create a tool like this?
