I have heard a lot of people talking about GNS3. I used Packet tracer when studying for my ccna. I wanted to give GNS3 a shot to see what it was like, but it looks like you have to install the software for all the devices you want to use. Also, it looks like you need to buy this software from the vendor. Is this the case? Are all these people shelling out money to practice their skills and test their networks using gns3? I tried downloading some devices from gns3 and they all failed to initialize in gns3 because of checksum errors. I just want to play around a little but, dont need anything specific.
