Packet Loss Issue!

Hey All!

I have a packet loss issue that has been giving me quite a headache recently.

I started noticing this yesterday. I a MMO game I play, the in game network settings kept reporting an upload packet loss of ~1-5%. Naturally I decided to ping the server through cmd prompt [ping -t 52.55.0 -l 2048]. I noticed that I was getting around the same packet loss, ~3%.

I am by no means qualified to figure out what is going on here. Can anyone guide me through how I should debug this? I know there are a million possibilities that could cause this issue.

Some specs if needed:

CPU - i7700k

MoBo - ASrock Taichi Z270

I did all the basic stuff I could think of.

• Reboot modem and router and PC
• Update router firmware, mobo BIOS
• CAT 6 wired connection.
