Using cat5e from the the wall jack to the router and switch instead of cat6

Hi everyone, i passed cat6 in the walls this week and i was wondering if i use cat5e of a length of 7 ft between the wall jack and the router and switch would it have any effects on the speed ? I know logically cat6 is what i should use but since i have none at the moment i was wondering if i could use that.
