New to Enterprise APs help

Hi guys, I am quite new to enterprise APs, I recently bought an aruba APIN0225 from a company's bankruptcy sale to upgrade my home network. When I got home I factory reset the AP and went through the network configuration through it's assigned IP using the browser tool, everything worked initially, but after a few minutes the AP kept re-configuring itself to another ssid and pswd while locking me out of all the management tools, I kept running the factory restore functionality to gain access again and again but after a few minutes the same thing happens. I think the router is still syncing to a offsite configuration server even though the company that I bought the router from went bankrupt. I was wondering if there is a way to disable this functionality and be able to use it as a home AP, it seems that the network sync configuration is flashed into the firmware as even with factory restores the behavior continues.

Is there a way to fix this or did I just throw a bunch of my money away?

Thanks all for your help!
