I’m trying to debug some issues with some virtual Aruba Mobility Masters hosted in a remote colo.
To make things easier, I’m shipping the logs to Papertrail, which is a hosted Syslog server.
(I’m possibly going to change this to a Graylog instance hosted in the cloud, depending on the amount of data generated).
However, this is simply sending syslog in cleartext over UDP 514 to Papertrail right now.
How big of this is an issue in real life?
