Hi,
I’m on a TAC call with Ruckus support but they seem to not know the answer to my question; is there a way we can set the SmartZone up as a Bonjour Gateway?
I have three layer 3 switches in my environment and they each have a /16 assigned to them 10.1.0.0, 10.2.0.0 and 10.3.0.0, we then subnet and VLAN within these off each core switch.
VLAN 140 (10.X.140.0/24 where X is variable to which core the VLAN is coming off) is my AP mgmt VLAN and every SSID tunnels back to the SmartZone in VLAN150 on IP 10.1.150.0/24 which is in the primary core switches address space.
Ruckus are telling me I need to make an AP the bonjour gateway? But from my understanding I would need to tag all VLANs to that one AP, whereas currently for tunnel mode we simply untag/change the pvid of the port to 140. Tagging all the client access VLANs that need to mirror isn’t possible across the L3 routed links between the 3 cores.
Why have this beefy controller and it not be able to act as a bonjour gateway?
Is it possible ?
