Help with implementing VRRP with two routers

I'm having this thought since already at work we have a separate low bandwidth link for TV/Guest wifi, and when the main link drops I can manually switch it to this backup router but it's troublesome and time-consuming.

What I want to have is automatic failover/redundancy to this backup router but the thing is that it only gives private IP addresses. It's locked from the ISP, which isn't a main issue if I will have internet at least, and not go completely in the dark with 0 redundancy.

Please see the below network diagram. What I want to achieve is to connect this Huawei router into a port in the MikroTik and implement VRRP so when the main link fails it can automatically switch. On the MikroTik, I'm getting a link with our public IP and from there I'm using NAT and a DHCP server for our employees to have internet access along with wifi AP(which they only relay the signal, no DHCP there).

So can this be achieved? VRRP with one router on public ip and other with direct private addresses.
