Gigamon 2404 Link Problem

Any thoughts on this? I'm stumped.

I have a GigaVUE-2404 with 1 gig copper SFP adapters that I'm experimenting with to replace our VSSMonitoring 12x4 taps. I've configured G1 as a tool port and ports 1 & 2 as network ports; more specifically, as a port-pair that forwards to G1.

G1 seems to come up just fine (has link), but ports 1 and 2 absolutely refuse to establish link. Link Status is marked as zero. Since these are copper network ports rather than fiber tool ports, it also seems to be impossible to tell the Gigamon to statically set the ports as active.

Things I've done:

* Verified that both "ends" of the wire that the port pair are hooked up to have link
* Swapped out the SFP adapters with other known-good adapters
* Tried turning off auto-neg (which should not work in gigabit anyway) and statically configuring these to 1g full duplex; no difference.

Any ideas? Below I've pasted some relevant config details:
