Hi all,
This is slightly beyond me at the moment, but it seems like it should be easy.
I have an axis PTZ camera that I want to power directly. I’m an electronics engineer, so I had no problem hooking in to the power supply circuits and forcing it to power up without a PoE switch.
The problem is that it claims there isn’t enough power to run the PTZ and the camera together. Some googling reveals that there are ways to tell a PoE switch what power level to announce, but I’d like to do this from (preferably) a Linux box that the camera is directly connected to.
Any ideas?
If it helps, it’s an axis 6035E.
