Hi guys, dumb question...
We're doing a switch refresh with Catalyst 9k switches, and I'm not super familiar with Auto-QOS, being that our old switches used MLS QOS. Our hardware VOIP phones & softphones (we have a mix of both) tag DSCP, so do I...
- Apply "auto qos trust dscp" to the access ports, and "auto qos voip trust" to the switch uplinks?
- Or should I just apply "auto qos trust dscp" everywhere?
From what I can tell they both do the same thing, but the Cisco Auto-QOS documentation mentions using "auto qos voip trust" specifically for interfaces connected to other switches or routers. So I'm not really sure what to choose.
