Bit of a different one. We have a bunch of sales staff working in a shared office space - think along the lines of wework/spaces.
To demo our product they need to connect their iPhone and laptop to the same network. It so they can share their mobile screen to laptop. Mobile phone runs the app, they present the mobile phone screen in a video call from their laptop. This uses an app called reflector to mirror the screen.
The issue is in the shared office the WiFi operates under strict isolation mode - no WiFi client can talk to or see another WiFi client. Really management should have thought of this before shutting our office to save cost.......
What can I do to create a wlan hanging off the building Lan which would enable their clients to talk to each other?
I was thinking of a wireless router plugged into the building Lan, WiFi enabled, and natting to the DHCP IP that the LAN gives us.
Any better ideas/solutions than this out there?
We've looked at mobile 4g dongles as a hotspot but the signal in the building is rubbish
