Cisco C2960X-48TS failure after 2 months... wha?!

Not sure what happened.

But we received a call that a number of users had lost internet connectivity. Onsite support confirmed that there was 'no' power coming from one of our switches.

Upon inspection, the switch was dead. Dead dead. 'It's now a nice paperweight on my desk' dead. We've RMA'd the switch to CISCO and are hoping to hear back within a month or 2 why this died.

But I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with these switches dying randomly within a month or two? And if so what did you do about it?
