I have a pair of 2960XR's that run POE, that I have no intention of using. these will be serving up copper ports in our data center. My question is, can I disable POE and just run 250W power supplies in them?
I have successfully powered the switch on with this power supply, and set the power inline to never. However the syslog barks and it disables the interface. These are not currently production, and I have extra 250W power supplies. I would like to avoid purchasing the bigger power supplies that I don't need.
Any info would be a great help!
