Working Transceivers 'show media' = empty?!

Hi,
We have 2x switches, with the same pair of FS.COM 40GB Fibre transceivers installed in both. ‘Show media’ command lists the modules on one switch, but shows empty on the other. The links are fine though, they are up and running… any idea why?
