Network Reliability Engineer -do you have such a role in your company? What do they do?

I am trying to understand the definition but I can't say I do?

Can anybody please explain it in layman terms? Simple and concise ..

I am very interested in the testing and validation aspects of the network, more exactly in determining the metrics that our network if working as designed and automating the processes of checking these factors enterprise wide after each change. Where does this fall?
