GS1920 switch - how to configure QoS?

Hi all,

I'm stuck. I need to apply some QoS to a network of about 20 x ZyXel GS1920 switches across a campus. All I currently need is the ability to prioritise the members of a few campus-wide static VLANs over other VLANs.

I note that the ZyXel firmware doesn't seem to allow for the setting of priorities on a static VLAN whilst it does to other types of VLAN. Problem is I already have 20 switches' worth of static VLANs in production so I don't want to rip out the static VLANs and replace them with any other method.

I also note that there's a section in the GUI called "Queuing Method" ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/GS1920-24v2/user_guide/GS1920-24v2_V4.50_ed2.pdf#G10.4490057 but that's great for setting up a queuing method on the ports but it doesn't tell me how to classify the traffic into those queues? Is this what I set in the 802.1p Priority setting for each port? and if so, what do I set for trunk ports to other switches?
