Hey,
I have a Cisco ASA 5506 + an Aruba 2930F L3 switch
Modem -> ASA 5506 -> Aruba 2930
I just want to confirm as Trunk/Tag is confusing me a little and want to know if im doing this correctly.
From what I understand, you mark a port trunk if it's connected to another device (Router, Switch etc..)
So Aruba Port 1 is connected to the ASA and I marked it as Trunk port. (Trk1)
Tagging marks "packets" that are travelling to a trunk link.
So I have 2 VOIP phones on Port 24/25 which is VLAN 30. Those should be tagged so when it goes through the firewall. (I have priority enabled for DSCP 46), since its "tagged", it can properly give it priority over other packets? If it was untagged, the QoS rule wouldn't apply?
Sorry if this is a dumb question
