Without any additional settings, when one switch in a MC-LAG is rebooted after the reboot it will bring up VRRP and start accepting traffic before OSPF has converged. It then doesn’t have any upstream routes and the traffic basically gets blackholed for approximately 40 seconds until routes are learned.
What’s the best / recommended way to solve this which works in a MC-LAG setup? VRRP preempt hold-time? Additional static upstream routes?
