We are in the process of developing a private mobile APN for a client who requires basically all internet services to be blocked except for their approved list of IPs and URLs. Along with this, the customer has an application on the Google Play store which they would need to have reachable, but limited in such a way that only their app can be "seen"/accessed on the Google Play store to download only their app and it's updates once on the APN.
Can someone possibly help with confirming if this is possible to lock down the Play Store in such a way? And, if so, how would one go about allowing access to only their specific app on the Play Store? I am not the one doing the development, but trying to help get this done and have some technical knowledge. I might be wrong, but would whitelisting the specific URL to the app on the Play Store resolve the issue above?
Also, we need to somehow allow enough access to Google's services to allow the Google account to connect and authenticate through the Play Store, but block all other Google services (Google drive, YouTube Etc.).
Any help or advise would be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
