Is there a way to reduce or eliminate the number of duplicate connections to a single webinar? For example, if I have ten users at one location is there some manner in which I can make it so the stream only has to download a single time through our Internet connection and then all the users can share that single connection?
I was wondering if one of the larger webinar vendors like GotoMeeting perhaps has some kind of proxy I can load on a local server in which the users connect to that proxy instead of directly to GotoMeeting to reduce the overall Internet bandwidth consumption. I am hoping there is a Webinar product that handles as a supported feature as opposed to me having to acquire and setup some manner of third party product.
Alternatively has anyone effectively addressed this problem in some manner using a paid or unpaid third party product?
Then end result I am shooting for is to make it so that ten users don't use ten times the bandwidth that a single user would use while all of them viewing the same webinar.
