Oracle Cloud Migration - Fast Connect L2 handoff service

Has anyone ever used the Oracle Fast connect service? We are in the process of migrating to Oracle cloud and we will be using this Fast Connect service for the duration of this migration. I was told they will be dropping a 10g layer 2 fiber into our DC cage. I was wondering best practices here network wise.

Would this be connected into my L3 switch that hands off down to my ASA then to my Core or should this be directly connected into my Core (TenGig port). My Databases that will need to use this Fast Connect are located on my core (3850).

My initial plan was to order 10g modules for my Cisco 3850 core and since the DBs have 10g ports I was going to get 10g copper SFPs as well as 10g fiber SFP to hold the Fast Connect connection. Since this is a L2 connection I thought that this could go directly into core but was not 100% sure.

Current setup is

L3 Switch --> 5545ASAs -->3850s-->DataBases

Thanks in advance.
