Adtran 5560 and basic WiFi output

I’m an entry level IT person so I apologize if I should know more networking. My general knowledge is plugging in the coaxial cable to the modem and connecting that to a router.

I’m trying to remotely assist an office with their internet connection.

They are currently connected via DSL to a modem/router combo provided by century link. This is still their main source of WiFi. Right now they’re getting 9 mb down but have a 100 mb plan.

Just recently, centurylink did a fiber installation with a AdVanta 5660 connected to a RAD ETX-230AM.

After doing some research on them I’m still unsure of what they do.

Is the AdVanta a router on its own?

The office would like to use a netgear r7000 to output WiFi. It’s currently connected via Ethernet to the GIG 0/2 port but that’s not showing a connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
