So i have a gateway far from my room where my ps4 is, my room is far from it where i have a ps4 so i bought a long LAN cable to get it to my room throug my ceiling and got it to a room where i connected it to a wifi extender. The wifi extender acts as a acsess point so its basically like a router with since its connected to my extender(its not acting as a extender, thats what i want it to) and i want a wired connection to my ps4 since wireless makes it a bit slow, should i buy a switch and have my extender and my ps4 wired? Could really need some help with this and tips. Thanks.
