Acess to internet by user

Hi guys, i dont know if i m on the right place. But i work for a small company and i wanted to create user and password to acess internet

I know its possible because i remember when i was school to acess internet i needed to use my username and a password i create on start.

On the office i have a qnap and router from my provider and a switch.

If i m not the right place please tell me where i can get the help .

Edit: guys thanks to you all. Already acheived what i wanted by implement 802.1x on a local server.
