What is the career path for a network engineer assuming one wants to stick to technical line?

I am a senior network engineer (L2) with 6 yrs of exp mostly working on cisco products. I would like to know all the possible career paths/options available to me assuming i don't want to get into non technical/management role and want to stick only to technical line? I am thinking of timeframe of 10 to 15 years from now. Also Is there any advantage to sticking only to technical line throughout your career rather than moving into management line?
