Need to replace a standby SUP2E on a 7706 chassis, need a sanity check. I have upgraded NX-OS before but have not replaced a bad SUP on a production box.
After I physically install the new SUP, do I simply need to do the following?
Load kickstart from TFTP(if no NX-OS is currently present on new SUP)
Copy kickstart and system images to bootflash of new SUP.
Load the system image
Do I then need to do "install all" for the new NX-OS system image on the new SUP?
Anything I'm missing?
I can't seem to find a document on this from Cisco specifically for the 7700. I have found instructions for the 7000 which match what I have posted here.
