Quick networking question. So I have a gateway eero, and I have a Netgear GS808E-100NAS (Netgear Nighthawk switch), and I'm trying to figure out how to wire my setup. I have a couple different options, but I don't want to bottleneck my network. For my second switch, I would get another Netgear Nighthawk switch, the same one I already have. If this doesn't belong here, then that's fine, just figured this would be a good place to ask.
1) put an Ethernet splitter or a very small switch coming out of my eero and then have 2 ethernets going to 2 separate switches.
2) eero > switch uplink port (8), port 1 > switch uplink port (8). 1st switch would wire the whole house (6-7 ports), and then the other switch would be for our TV, Apple TV, Xbox One S, and PS4.
Are there any other better ways to wire this or hook this up?
