Can an MTP Cassette be used as a 40Gbps to 10Gbps breakout “cable” on channelized interfaces?

After a point breakout cables are kinda messy and a little annoying to deal with if you care about cable management.

I noticed MTP Cassettes are really similar to breakout cables, only they break out into 5 cables instead of 4.

What happens if you hook a channelized interface into an MTP Cassette? Would you end up with four working 10Gbps connections, and one that doesn’t do anything?

Or would just nothing work?
